DM Insight - Amy and Brandon's La Playa Papertale
Designing the stationery for Amy and Brandon's La Playa wedding was the perfect example of combining strength and softness. The use of pearlized papers and soft charcoal printing when combined with the subtle, floral accents gave the pieces both a rich, formal feel and and a subtle, southern elegance.
DM Insight - Jessica and Daniel's Papertale
Our collaboration with one of our amazing artists has opened up new doors in creating custom invitations for our clients. Not only doors but also windows, front porches, gorgeous trees, historic landmarks, and famous old homes. We then take these pieces of art and incorporate them into the design of our invitations and stationery. Jessica and Daniel's Papertale is one stunning example of how custom artwork can add a unique, personalized touch to the invitation suite.
DM Insight - Merissa and Matthew's Papertale
"Less is more" is a popular saying or mantra in many aspects of design. Sometimes clean simplicity can make the boldest statement. This was the case in working on the invitation for Merissa and Matthew. Letterpress printing is a traditional method of printing using a printing press. During this process each invitation is produced with direct impression of an inked, raised surface against cardstock or paper. The look and feel of the technique gives the invitations depth and dimension.
DM Insight - Sydney and Parker's Papertale
Sydney and Parker came to me looking to capture an "Old Florida" feel in their wedding stationery. The golds and peaches needed to be featured in setting the tone for this elegant occasion. The wedding was to take place at The Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota and capturing the gandeur of this venue was important for the inspiration of this stationery.
DM Insight - Kelsey and Sean's Papertale
Madison, one of our assemblers at DM Paper Designs, introduced us to her friend and Chi Omega sorority sister, Kelsey. Kelsey came to our studio hoping that I could capture the rustic look and feel of their wedding venue location in all of the details of their wedding stationery. I knew the challenge would be to take the strength of the oak trees of Cross Creek Ranch and marry it with the soft, elegance needed for their wedding. During our intial meeting we brainstormed and I suggested ways to capture the contrast of the textures of the outdoors within the invitation suite. A special thank you to Austin Trenholm at Trenhom Photo for capturing all of the details.
Shabby Chic Wedding - Michelle and Derek's Papertale
We totally appreciate when a bride takes on the huge task of DIY’ing her entire wedding and scouting her friends and family to help make her and her future hubby’s dream come true; this bride is no exception. Michelle came to us with a vision of a shabby chic wedding with tons of charm and wanted her stationery to reflect this on-trend vision. By incorporating various textures, like lace & twine, using a specialty cardstock that is made to look like the wood on a tree and whimsical fonts, we have created an awesome stationery suite that reflects the bride’s vision. Take a look at all the cuteness from TRK Photography of Michelle & Derek’s big day!
Come Fly With Me - Ashley and Tyler's Papertale
Corey & Topanga have nothing on this couple! Tyler first felt his heart soar when this couple met in grade school. Amidst the throwing of paper airplanes to get Ashley’s attention, this couple began their storybook romance. Throughout college, buying a new house, getting adorable puppies, these two finally made it official. Join us as we dive into this adorable stationery suite all the way from their whimsical save the dates, to their high flying day of decor! Also, how cool are those paper airplane escort cards?! - Images by Set Free Photography.
Chandelier - Kayla and Justin's Papertale
Having shared an office space with Jet Set Wed has led to endless opportunities for us to create fabulous stationery for Kehrin’s clients. Kayla & Justin were no exception. The inspiration for their invitations came from the chandelier that hung so beautifully in Kayla & Justin’s home and also Kayla’s love for pink! Moving forward with Kehrin’s elegant vision of this stationery suite, we were able to create timeless blush, black and charcoal pieces. Photographed by the talented Hunter Ryan Photo.
