Chalkboard & Floral - Kathy's Bridal Shower Papertale
Written by Project ManagerFor Kathy's bridal shower we took the blush and floral elements that are so popular now and gave it a crisp, edgy feel while maintaining a romantic and feminine feeling for a bridal shower invitation. We also wanted to tie in details that were already in place for the shower decor. The finished creation was bold, fun, and elegant!
DM Insight - Perfect Venues in Paper Vision
Written by Project ManagerOne popular trend we're loving is the use of the Wedding Venue as part of the vision and design for the Wedding Stationery. Not only does it celebrate the beauty of the wedding location but it also peaks guests' interest and excitement about the event by giving them a look at the place where the upcoming celebration will take place. We're looking at way various ways we've used artist sketches of the venues in our designs.
DM Insight - Brandy and Matthew's Papertale
Written by Project ManagerBrandy and Matthew's Invitation brought together elements of organic papers, flirty fonts, and playful colors to set the tone for their big day.
DM Insight - Amy and Brandon's La Playa Papertale
Written by Project ManagerDesigning the stationery for Amy and Brandon's La Playa wedding was the perfect example of combining strength and softness. The use of pearlized papers and soft charcoal printing when combined with the subtle, floral accents gave the pieces both a rich, formal feel and and a subtle, southern elegance.
The Burroughs Home: Caitlyn and Anthony's Hand Sketch Artwork Papertale
Written by Project ManagerCaiti and Tony's Invitation was built around the beautiful, historic Burrough's Home in Fort Myers. We were able to incorporate the image into the design using a hand-sketch piece of artwork created for the bride and groom by one of our artists. The soft, cottony cardstock combined with a champagnium response envelope and a graphite invitation envelope created a contrast that gave the event an exciting feel for their guests.
We couldn't help but feeling like ecstatic cheerleaders before for kick off while waiting for the football escort cards to arrive back to our studio. Weeks of design and collaborative planning finally came together for this adorable wedding escort card display project.

DM Insight - Jessica and Daniel's Papertale
Written by Project ManagerOur collaboration with one of our amazing artists has opened up new doors in creating custom invitations for our clients. Not only doors but also windows, front porches, gorgeous trees, historic landmarks, and famous old homes. We then take these pieces of art and incorporate them into the design of our invitations and stationery. Jessica and Daniel's Papertale is one stunning example of how custom artwork can add a unique, personalized touch to the invitation suite.
DM and Me - Christopher and Bryan's Papertale
Written by Project ManagerWhen I first sat down with Debra to discuss save the dates and invitations I had no idea that three completely different, wondrous things were happening at the same time. I was meeting an amazing stationery designer who would create my dream wedding from beginning to forever. I was finding a new passion in my life and career in the incredibly rewarding world of paper design. Last, and most importantly, I made a friendship that would change my life. My consultation at DM Paper Designs created the wedding, the job opportunity, and the friendship of a lifetime. Today's blog will share how DM shaped both my wedding and my future.

DM Insight - Merissa and Matthew's Papertale
Written by Project Manager"Less is more" is a popular saying or mantra in many aspects of design. Sometimes clean simplicity can make the boldest statement. This was the case in working on the invitation for Merissa and Matthew. Letterpress printing is a traditional method of printing using a printing press. During this process each invitation is produced with direct impression of an inked, raised surface against cardstock or paper. The look and feel of the technique gives the invitations depth and dimension.
DM Insight - Sydney and Parker's Papertale
Written by Project ManagerSydney and Parker came to me looking to capture an "Old Florida" feel in their wedding stationery. The golds and peaches needed to be featured in setting the tone for this elegant occasion. The wedding was to take place at The Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota and capturing the gandeur of this venue was important for the inspiration of this stationery.
Madison, one of our assemblers at DM Paper Designs, introduced us to her friend and Chi Omega sorority sister, Kelsey. Kelsey came to our studio hoping that I could capture the rustic look and feel of their wedding venue location in all of the details of their wedding stationery. I knew the challenge would be to take the strength of the oak trees of Cross Creek Ranch and marry it with the soft, elegance needed for their wedding. During our intial meeting we brainstormed and I suggested ways to capture the contrast of the textures of the outdoors within the invitation suite. A special thank you to Austin Trenholm at Trenhom Photo for capturing all of the details.
