We used the sketch on the front tab of the pocketfold. It was mounted on a graphite backing that brought together the envelope and the invitation backing in such a classy way. The drawing of The Dominion House in Guthrie, Oklahoma was perfect for the strong, clean design of Jessica and Daniel's Invitation. Having the location of the wedding incorporated into the design drew the guests into this breathtaking venue immediately.
The rich script font in combination with the block fonts were printed in navy and charcoal in order to tie in the colors from the envelope and pocketfold for the insert cards. The script font has a luxurious feel as it runs off the edges of each piece.
We created the custom postage using the artist's sketch of The Dominion House so that you would see the design in more than one facet. This peaks guests' interest in the gorgeous location of this event.
A simple response envelope can be taken to a whole new level with the gorgeous navy and charcoal printing of these fonts and the addition of the custom postage stamp.
Using an artist sketch of such a powerful, beautiful architectural structure can lend to the clean lines, strong feel, and formality of an invitation. We're finding inspiration in the richness of this artistic work.
