Chalkboard & Floral - Kathy's Bridal Shower Papertale

For Kathy's bridal shower we took the blush and floral elements that are so popular now and gave it a crisp, edgy feel while maintaining a romantic and feminine feeling for a bridal shower invitation.  We also wanted to tie in details that were already in place for the shower decor.  The finished creation was bold, fun, and elegant!

The shapes of the chalkboard, address label, and registry insert card all add fun and whimsy in contrast to the clean black used in the design.

The chalkboard design gives a soft romantic feel.  The playful fonts and sprinkling of the floral contrast the clean lines with feminine beauty.

The ginger favor tag complimented the invitation.  The sheer ribbon used to tie the favor was chosen to repeat the linen overlays that were used on the tables at the bridal shower.

The menu shape drew inspiration from the shape of the invitation.  We went with a pearlized peach cardstock so that the menu would stand out on the table against the sheer, black overlay of the linen.

Together the classic black envelope, feminine fonts, and whimiscal die cut shapes of all of the pieces give this bridal shower suite the romantic and bold feel we were looking to create.

Thank to Trenholm Photo for the gorgeous pictures.
